Jehovah’s Witnesses respond by claiming the Greek text actually says “. . . the Word was a god .”.Yet, the grammar and sentence structure for “Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ” is exactly the same as “God and Savior, Jesus Christ.” Since everyone agrees that “Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ” is the correct translation throughout the rest of the book, then it is completely inconsistent to separate “God” and “Savior” in 2 Peter ....
